Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Gerardo Garza, I'm a traditional artist turned game developer from Texas. I grew up dreaming about being an artist, my parents owned a artisanal pottery store where I spent most of my childhood, it served as constant artistic inspiration.

My high school, Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, provided the opportunity to explore sgi UNIX/IRIX workstations with Power|Animator 7, I also had the opportunity to show my art in local museums and galleries including the Dallas Museum of Art.

I attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. While there I focused on traditional art, upon graduating I re-constructed my work to feature 3D Modeling and put both my passions together.

Since then, I've worked professionally for the largest and smallest of studios, I've learned and taught, I've worked for a variety of franchises and have worn many hats. I'm creative, technical, and passionate about making games.
